Plain language, and it is the whole agreement between you and getfunded.lol.

What getfunded.lol is

getfunded.lol (“GetFunded”) is a startup discovery and networking platform. Founders publish a profile describing the funding they are seeking; standard listings are free. Founders may separately pay for optional promotion and visibility. Anyone can read those profiles for free. GetFunded charges fees only for optional paid promotion and visibility services: it does not receive, hold or transfer investment funds for anyone, no investment transaction is processed through the site, and no payment made here goes to any startup. GetFunded is not a broker, not a dealer, not an investment adviser and not a funding platform. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell securities or a solicitation of an offer to buy them.

Fees and ranking

Position on the board is decided by one thing: the total promotion credited to a listing. Promotion is optional, and those payments purchase visibility services from getfunded.lol. They are not an investment, capital contribution, equity purchase or securities purchase, they are not held on anyone's behalf, and they are not returned when a position changes. Any founder can purchase additional promotion and take a higher position at any time. Listing itself is free and involves no payment.

Payments

Listing is free, so the only payments on GetFunded are optional promotion payments, payable in USD through our payment provider. They are non-refundable once a listing is published, because the service has then been delivered. If we reject a listing, every promotion payment paid for it is refunded in full to the original payment method. The complete policy is on the Cancellation & Refund Policy page.

What you promise when you list

That you are a founder or an authorised representative of the startup you are listing, that the information you publish is true and not misleading, that you have the right to use any names and links you submit, and that you will not use getfunded.lol for anything unlawful. We can reject, edit or remove any listing, with or without a reason.

What we do not promise

We do not verify listings beyond a basic sanity check, we do not endorse any startup or investor, and we do not promise that listing here will get you funded, seen, contacted or anything else. The site is provided as is. To the maximum extent the law allows, getfunded.lol's total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months.

For investors

Everything you read here was written by a founder about their own company. Do your own diligence before acting on any of it, and never send money to someone because of a rank on a leaderboard.
