How to read the board
Placement follows the optional paid promotion behind a listing, so #1 simply means more paid promotion than #2, and nothing more should be read into it. Sort your own way: filter by sector and stage, ignore the ordering entirely if you like, and judge the pitch.
Listings are reviewed by hand before they appear, which weeds out obvious junk. It is not diligence. Nothing here is verified, nothing here is an offer of securities, and every conversation happens directly between you and the founder.
